about
Ding-A-Derry: Track 7 is a song about living with anxiety and depression and how you never know what the future will bring. Music has come to my aid many times while living with depression and anxiety and I decided it was time to write a song about it.

Music & Lyrics By: Nathaniel Hockman
I’m deep inside a cave and I’m not hiding,
I would not be lying if I said I was dying.
I’m underneath the ice and my eyes are crying,
Past the point of trying,
Are these bag-of-bones worth reviving?
Never know, you never know, who is hurting,
Never know, you never know, what you can do,
Never know, you never know, you can’t speak for the future,
You never know, you never know.
It’s cruel to see the world from the dark-side,
Even if I still had pride just know that I thought my dream died.
The warmth inside our hearts, there’s no misleading,
You are finally feeling a memory burn that won’t be fleeting.
Never know, you never know, who is hurting,
Never know, you never know, what you can do,
Never know, you never know, you can’t speak for the future,
You never know, you never know.
There are times I want to die,
The pain is too much who would want to survive.
But you can and you will,
Live to see another day because the future is bright, I know,
This is how you get that way.
Never know, you never know, who is hurting,
Never know, you never know, what you can do,
Never know, you never know, you can’t speak for the future,
You never know, you never know.
