Expel: The outro track has some backstory. The music for Expel was originally just the last minute of the final song. Lyrics were added to that last part as a prelude to my next album. The beginning of the recording of, Expel was the end product of a tradition of always recording a song on Halloween Night (since 2000). Halloween night 2016, I had an epiphany. Lately, I've been struggling with motivation and drive and my endless to-do lists have haunted me. I realized with the way my brain operates, I needed to start writing the things down that I was doing and finishing creatively rather than cross things off a list. The results have been unbelievable and I haven't had a day go by where at least something or 10 things were done or finished. Without that new train of thought and this improv jam, I don't think I ever would of finished the album, "Embody & Expel."
